  1. The why's of broadcast television are unknown to me. Today at 13:00 PDT, CNN said "goodbye" to its international viewers who would receive "African Voices" while others would receive "Fareed Zakaria GPS."

I mean no criticism of "African Voices" since I do not know it. However, I have seen GPS and it is one of the bright spots CNN has to offer. Why not show it to international viewers as well?

What is an "international viewer" anyway? Most organizations use the term "international" to indicate "not us" or non-domestic persons. This seems a shady distinction in the current world of transportation and telecommunication.

Perhaps "international viewers" are able to see GPS at another time slot. I hope so. It is one of the best things CNN has to offer. The USA needs to show the world outside itself the best we have to offer instead of entertainment and infotainment that make up the bulk of CNN programming.
